Book Review - Letters From the Enemy (and a site for book swapping)

Leah Courtney
I had heard about BookMooch last year and looked into it but didn't really try it out.  The other day, I was googling sites for book swapping and stumbled across it again.  BookMooch allows you to list your books that you are willing to give away. For every ten books you list, you get a point.  When someone requests your book and you accept, you get a point.  Then you can use your points to request books.  There is no charge for the books you request, but you do have to pay shipping for the books you send.  I have mailed out seven books already and requested eight.

The first book I received was Letters From the Enemy by Susan May Warren.  Susan May Warren is one of my favorite Christian romance writers.  In Letters From the Enemy, Lilly is waiting for her fiance who is fighting in France during WW1.  She accidentally befriends a local cowboy who is of German descent.  From Heinrick, Lilly learns to trust in God and seek His plan for her life.  She realizes that the path God has planned for her may not be exactly what she had planned.

I enjoyed this book.  It was reminiscent of a book that I loved as a teenager- Summer of My German Soldier.
