I actually finished three books this week:
Girl Talk With God- written by Susie Shellenberger- which I reviewed here
The Brotherhood by Jerry B. Jenkins which I will be reviewing at the end of this week as part of Tyndale's blog tour (Make sure you check out my review because you can win a copy of the book!)
And The Girl Who Played With Fire- the second in Steig Larsson's series.
I found this second book MUCH easier to get into because I knew the characters and was actually a bit more familiar with Swedish politics after reading the first book. In this installment, Lisbeth Salandar, our heroine, finds herself in the midst of a murder investigation as the main suspect. More and more of Lisbeth's life story is revealed as we read about the investigation. The ending of the book is a definite cliff-hanger, and I immediately started book 3.
A caution, there is quite a bit of casual sex- although none descriptive- and some bad language. I sort of think of Larsson as a Swedish James Patterson; although I think Larsson uses much more detail making his plots and characters a bit more complex.
