Cinders-Michelle Davidson Argyle

This "sequel" to the fairytale story of Cinderella was actually reviewed in the 52 Books in 52 Weeks blog.  It was a short novella and sounded interesting because I enjoy fantasy and fairy tales.

I will probably never be able to read the story of Cinderella to my children again in the same way.  This was the darkest, most despairing fairy tale ever.  So much for happy endings and true love.  Instead we have dark magic, murder, doubt, and political intrigue.

Stick with the original story.  Skip the sequel.
