52 Books in 52 Weeks Update

Several weeks have passed since I posted for a 52 booksin 52 weeks update.  Looking over my books read list so far, I have easily read more than a book a week on average, but occasionally I haven't finished a book in a week.  This past week we were at the beach, so I more than exceeded my book for the week.  In fact, I finished 6 books.

Before heading to the beach, I finished up book 7 of the Outlander series- An Echo in the Bone.  I couldn't post about it last week because we were sadly without internet access for most of the week!  I loved this most recent Outlander book as I have loved the entire series.  I am rather sad now because book 8, supposedly the final book in the series is not due out until next year.  I suppose I should be thankful because I only began the series this year and have been able to read the books one after the other.  I feel for those poor souls who fell in love with Jamie and Claire at the beginning of the publication- over 15 years ago!

At the beach I read and reviewed two Ken Ham books I've been waiting to read- Already Gone and Already Compromised.

I enjoyed a memoir, Jesus, My Father, the CIA, and Me by Ian Morgan Cron.

Tyndale has some new ebooks to review, and I chose Stealing Jake by Pam Hillman and Delivery by Diana Prusik.

And, I breezed through a James Patterson mystery, Step on a Crack.  I always enjoy an easy read like that with a short but compelling mystery.

I'm now taking a break from books I need to review and reading some recent Kindle freebies.
