The Utter Relief of Holiness by John Eldredge- A Review and a GIVEAWAY

I've heard of John Eldredge and his book Wild at Heart, but I've never read it.  I've heard many good things, however.  So I was glad to be able to review The Utter Relief of Holiness.

Eldredge is an author and speaker.  You can find out more about his ministry at the Ransomed Heart Ministries web site.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from The Utter Relief of Holiness.  Of course I desire holiness because I know it is pleasing to God.  But holiness doesn't exactly seem like a relief.  It usually feels more like a burden, like something that is hard to achieve.  But Eldredge describes the link between holiness and wholeness.  He details what holiness is and how we can work toward holiness in our own lives.

I liked the writing style Eldredge uses. It made The Utter Relief of Holiness an easy read.  It was inspiring and encouraging.  I was convicted and also encouraged that I could pursue holiness in my life.
