Fugitive by Shirlee McCoy

Fugitive was definitely a "twaddle" read, but it was one I enjoyed.

Logan Randall is on the run. He's an ex-police officer that is now an escaped convict determined to prove his innocence. He runs into Laney- once a girl he rescued, now a grown woman. Both feel an attraction for each other, but Laney is hesitant to help Logan because he is accused of a crime. He is hesitant to involve her because he is sure that he is in danger.

There was nothing deep or earth shattering here. It was a simple book with likeable characters and a sweet, romantic story line. Occasionally it was predictable. It was an easy read, and I enjoyed it.

I give this 3.5 stars and a G for content.

I received a free copy of the book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
