I've always enjoyed futuristic fiction. There is always a fine line between the "could be possible" and the "totally unbelievable." Lightning has that good balance.

Review of Lightning by Bonnie S. Calhoun
This is the fourth book in this futuristic series- The Stone Braid Chronicles. Two of the books, a prequel and a book that falls in the middle of the main two books, are free on Amazon. I haven't read the others, and I was missing some important information. But there was enough information throughout the story that I could catch up.

The story line of the Stone Braid Chronicles is very interesting. It's fast-paced and compelling. The characters are well-developed, and I was really drawn into their lives. It's often difficult to balance the story development and the character development. Lightning has a good balance of both. The plot moves along, but at the same time I had a good view of the characters' inner thoughts and feelings.

You can learn more about Lightning below and can read a chapter. I give the book 4 stars and a PG-13 rating for content. You can find the book on Amazon here.
